When people ask about my style, I’d say it’s a mix of editorial and documentary. I love capturing all the little details while also telling the story of how the day unfolds! Every wedding is unique, so I do my best to highlight the couple's personality and all the special moments.
Natural Colours
I really enjoy seeing the different colour palettes couples choose for their weddings. It often reflects their personalities or style. I aim to capture the colors as they were, so when you look back, the photos feel like you’re reliving the day. My approach tends to lean towards natural or fine art colours.
Candid + A Little Directed
Most of your wedding day—about 90%—will be shot candidly. I love capturing
genuine moments, whether it's laughter, tears, or something unexpected. The only time I step in with a little direction is for portraits and group photos. I’ll suggest locations with great lighting and offer a bit of guidance to ensure you look your best, but I’m totally open to any ideas you might have for photos too!
Getting Fun Shots
When I’m shooting, I stay pretty focused but I like to stay close to the action. It helps me catch all the fun moments. You’ve probably heard the saying, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough”—that’s kind of my approach. Whether it's during cocktail hour, games, or the dance floor, I’m always moving around, trying different angles to get those perfect shots.
